Things to Do

Cedar Hill hosts several fun community events throughout the year. In September, Cedar Hill Creative Arts Festival features great art, food, and performances, plus many special activities for kids. Country Day on the Hill is an annual celebration of Cedar Hill’s heritage held in the heart of the city’s historic downtown. The event usually takes place on the second Saturday in October, and it has been a much loved local tradition since the 1930s. Country Day activities include a parade, contests, three stages of live entertainment, and more than 100 vendors selling crafts.

The historic downtown area in Cedar Hill is a wonderful place to shop and explore. You can explore the city’s past with fascinating history exhibits at the Cedar Hill Museum.
